Potyty training days
Well, I have decided that it was TIME to have the twins potty trained. So Today was the day. We went to Wal-Mart and they got to pick out their own underpants that they wanted. McKay got some with basketballs, baseballs and things on it. Mackenzie got Dora. We got a big bag of treats and three boxes of capri suns. When we woke up this morning, we took the doll to the potty. She went, so she got a treat. They were not quite falling for it that the doll actually went. They kept trying to peek around the back where I had the cup and was pouring. So Jordan decided to go. So after Jordan went, he got a treat. Well, they all wanted to go now. SO we put thier new pants on them and started the fun. We ate cookies, pretzles, popcorn, whatever they wanted to help them need to drink a lot. We had capri suns and Milk with us at all times. We went to the potty about every 10 min. and NOTHING!! ALL MORNING LONG...NOTHING! I was about ready to pull my hair out. Why had they not gone yet. Not even an accident. At this point, I was hoping for an accident so that I could tell them what NOT to do. So I was making lunch and then it happened! McKay was standing in the kitchen, thank godness no carpet, and he went. He totally surprised himself. So we ran back and forth to the toilet and then the "puddle" telling him where the potty went. We almost fell down a couple of times when the other two were running back and forth with us. Then nap time came. I knew that McKay had emptied his bladder, but I am sure that all the eating and drinking will be wasted on nap time with Mackenzie. We shall see what tonight will bring.

Good luck Malinda!
Well, that just sounds like fun! haha. This summer we are living in Georgia working with one of Tylers old missionary companions. We work at a boarding school. We will be going home in about 3 weeks though, and then we are going to go to A&M Commerce. We decided cold weather just wouldn't work for us. All your pictures are soo cute! Your kids are precious!
Malinda, I will try to explain how to put links. Maybe you or your husband knows some about html. It will probably be very confusing. One thing you could do is go to our blog and under "View" click on page source. Then scroll through it until you find our links. That will give you an idea and you could just copy and paste. Basically you can put in a link like this...
< a href="http://mikeandmalindakarpowitzfamily.blogspot.com/">The Karpowitzes< / a >
but take out the spaces before and after the a's and the /. (it would put a link in this comment if I left the spaces) Anyway... I'm not sure that helps you at all. You just go to your template and edit it and add that wherever you want it (on the sidebar probably). Good luck, I know this is confusing. If you have a specific question about it, I can probably help. Sorry this is a way long comment for everyone to see!!!!
Oh Malinda. What wonderful memories and stories. It makes me smile to think about those days.

Hey Malinda, I noticed you tried to put the links in... Shane and I think they look fine, but they are just in the wrong place. They go way way way at the bottom of the template. You can actually find the google links that are automatically on yours and just replace those. You can go to the section in your template that talks about sidebar... find the "previous posts" title and put the links just before that. Maybe you figured all of this our already, but I just thought I'd let you know what we noticed... just in case!
