Gangster Boys

I went to the store the other day and found some Batman and Spiderman hat and glove sets. We lose gloves and hats so fast I decided to get them for the boys. They LOVED them. The wear them every time they go outside. Sometimes even when they are not outside. I found them watching TV like this one day. I had to take a picture.

I thought we lived in Ohio???

Today we are a little confused. We thought we moved to Ohio, not Alaska. It is so cold here today. They canceled school today all over Columbus because it is too cold to be outside longer then 15 min. It is -22 degrees today. Yep! That's what I said -22. Mike's car would not even start today. Fine by me that he took my car because I sure as heck am not going to go outside. So we are all stuck inside for today and more then likely tomorrow. It is supposed to warm up a little tomorrow, -20. So today we are making forts in our rooms, warm soups, playing play dough and sitting by the fire. Hopefully we make it. Hope everyone else is warmer then us!!

Here are a couple more pictures from our Christmas. We used my mom's old costumes and had the kids act out the birth of Jesus. It was very cute. They did really well. Jordan was so funny. He was the Shepard and was really getting into the part. He forgot what he was and he came up to me and asked "who and I mom, Chipper?" It was so funny. I guess Shepard and Chipper sound a like.

The kids were playing Dogs and the boys were laying in their dog beds. Mackenzie was of course... the mom.

I know that I have not posted for a LONG, LONG time, but this whole house thing is keeping me SOOOOO busy. The house that we bought was a bank owned home. Good for us, bad for the last owners. But they left the house a mess, and I mean a HUGE mess. It took us from 7 at night to 2:30 in the morning to get all their junk out of the house. Then from 9 in the morning until 3:30 to clean just the kitchen. It was REALLY gross. But now it is starting to look more like a home then a junk yard. We had to paint right away because the house smelled a little and we thought it might be coming from the walls. It smells a lot better in here now. We still have TONS of work to do. It will be a long road, but it will be so worth it. I am going to post some pictures of the house when we get a little more settled. Honestly, I don't even know where the charger is for my camera. Hence there are no new pictures.
