Weekend Fun

Well, I did it. I went away for a night. My sister and a couple friends spent the night away and scrapbooked all night and day. It was so much fun. It was something that I really needed. Mike did excellent with the kids as suspected. Jordan called me once and asked me where I was. He then told me that I needed to come home because he was going to miss me. It was so sweet, but I told him that I was not going to come home right away. He wanted me to tell him WHY?? I just told him that mommy needed some time to have fun with my friends.
While I was scrapbooking, I gave Mike a list of things that needed to get done. The wonderful husband that he is, he got all things done. I knew that he would. So now I just need to wait till I have a list of things for Mike to do and then scrapbook all weekend.

Preschool

Jorday had his first day of preschool. He was so excited to go. We have been talking about it all week to get ready for the big day. In fact, today he told me that his Nana and Bopa live in Texas. I don't know how he really knew that, but he did. Then I asked him where he lived and he said, "at speech and school" I guess that we know where he likes to be. We went out for ice cream to celebrate Jordan's first day of school. While we were in the ice cream store, the kids all started dancing. Everyone was watching and thought that they were all so cute.
We have been slacking at posting pictures, but I will have some by the weekend.

Home again

Since we have been home again things are getting back to normal. Mike started school again. He is busy but doing great as usual. Jordan will start pre-school again on the 21st of September. They are doing construction on the school that is not done yet. And I am trying ti fins ways to keep the twins busy. We are crazy. Jordan is talking a lot more. We were up on Campus the other day with Mike for a minute. I had a stomach ache and I was telling Mike about it. Jordan over heard us and yelled, "mom, you need to go poopoo". Mike and I died. The reason that he asked this is he has been having some tummy trouble and that is what I ask him first. He was just trying to make me feel better. Then at church on Sunday, his primary teacher was going up to bear his testimony and I wanted Jordan to see him and maybe listen to him. So Jordan was on my lap and I was telling him to watch his teacher. He looked at me all happy and said "that my teacher" then he yelled "hi" to him. Everyone thought it was really cute.

Texas Fun

Well, as you can see from the many pictures. we had a great time in Texas. We drove there which I hope to never have to do again. We drove straight thru on the way there and then in two days the way home. The kids loved to swim in Nana's pool. They still ask to go ever since we have been home. Mike and I were even able to go to the temple with my mom and dad. Mike and I even got to be the witness couple for the first time since we have been married. We are usually the last people in the room. Grandma and Grandpa spoiled us while we were there. We played so much and got so many things that we are going to be needing this winter. Mom and I found a great thrift store with gap cloths for 1.50. It was great. So we are almost outfitted for the winter. NOt quite, but we are better then when we left. Dad took Mike and helped Mike pick out a suit. I told Mike that he had to have one since we are going to be having interviews this year. Very important to look your best. And that he does in this suit. I even talked Mike into getting a couple of button down shirts to wear instead of t-shirts all the time. He looks SOOOO sharp!! He ever had a couple of job contacts while we were there. So we are working on his resume.
My mom took me out one afternoon and spolied me too. I got some really cute skirts and things that help me to look my best as well. We went to the best store ever. It is a jewlery store with everything you can think of in it for almost nothing. I loved it. It is call the Sam Moons, if you ever hear of it.
Other then these things, we got to see Uncle Travis play football and went to the spray park, the zoo and just played around most of the time. We can't wait till our next visit.

On our way to Texas, so had a flat tire. So the boys watched from the car, while Mackezie buckeled everything into the car seats. She did not care what was going on outside the car,

McKay was having so much fun, I had to put this one on there.

Dad looks a little wired. Maybe ha had too many Pepsi's.

Jordan and Grandpa having fun at the game.

Chesse!

Jordan and Nana at Travis's Football game.

YEH!

A bucket got him

Jordan would get under the water and sit there for a while.

WOW!! Look at all that water. I hope it does not fall on my head!

She is having so much fun. Who wants to go back to Idaho!

The more splashes the better

Don't get wet!

Run!

Jordan was trying to shoot someone.

Spray park play. They was a favorite thing to do to cool off in the Texas sun.

Jordan loved to cuddle with his uncle Bone as they call him. I tried to call him Travis and Jordan corrected me. No mom, not Travis. He is Bone.

Did someone say... Cheese!

Here they all are waiting for the train to come and get us from the zoo.

Jordan picked a giant Antelope.

Mackenzie picked a pink pony

We took a merry go round ride at the zoo. Mckay had to ride the webra.

Mackenzie did not want to look at the giraffe so she covered her eyes. Everyone and a while, she would try and peak thru her fingers.

I am not so sure about this place. Too many animals.

Grandpa... what is that in there???

YE HA!! But what is Dad looking at???

CHEESE!!!

Giddy up Cowboy Jordan

McKay had to have dad help him. He was more comfortable standing on the fence and watching the animals. But Mackenzie would not even come in the fence.

At the zoo, they had a childrens part that the kids could do. The got to get in the cage and pet the goats. Jordan was proud of himself.

Makenzie liked it too.

Enjoying the ride.

We rode the train downtown to go to the Dallas Zoo. As you can imagine, it was a treat for all the kids.

McKay Especially liked to be with his Nana. I think that Nana liked it too.

Bug Eye's. Isn't he cute!

McKay loved the pool.

Here she is again. This is a better picture.

Here is Miss boo in the pool. All the kids learned how to swim with their life jackets on while we were there.

This was the pep rally for Travis's football team. McKay was so interested in all the things that were around him. In this picture, he is looking at the band.

This was at the pep rally at Travis

Here we are in Texas. Mike and Jordan are having a swim in Nana's pool!
