We are going to Cali!!

On Monday Mike called me from work and said "Hey, have you heard of this new airline that is based out of Columbus?" I had heard a little bit about it on the news the night before but did not know much about it. He said that they have tickets for $10.00 each way from here to LA. I thought for sure there was a catch, so I told Mike to continue to look into it. He called me back about an hour later and said that he talked to his dad and we have plane tickets to LA at the end of May. He of course asked me if the days were OK and then we got them. So for all 5 of us to fly directly to LA it cost 204.00 with tax included. I could not believe it. So we get to go to visit Mike's family on May 30th. We are very excited because we thought that it would be a REALLY long time until we could get to California for a visit. The last time that we looked it would have been 2000.00 for us to fly there. Needless to say, we are going to keep our eyes open when they have flights like this again. Apparently, they have 10 seats on every flight for 10.00. So you just have to book early. Right now you can only fly to Columbus or from Columbus and they only have about 8 places that they fly, but hopefully when they grow they will fly other places... like Texas! So that is our fun news for the week.

Me and the twins ready for church. Jordan was sick so Mike stayed home with him.
The Easter Bunny did come to our house.
Jordan was trying to have fun and look at his basket, but was just too sick to enjoy it.
OK, This might look a little funny to all of you, but I was trying to reproduce what I saw in a Family Fun Magazine. I did the best that I could with what I had. Mike was in charge of making the cake while I was at church. The only problem was that I forgot to tell him to make it in the round cake pans. So I have to make do and cut the square cake into two pieces, but it worked fine.

Easter Weekend was a lot of fun. Mike had Friday off so we played really hard. We took the kids to see Meet the Robinson's in 3D. It was really cute, but we remembered why we only go to the dollar movies anymore. We had a nice family dinner with ham, potato's and all the normal Easter stuff. We are finding that it is nice to start a few of our own family tradition.
