I Love my Kids

I just wanted to write tonight about the adorable children that I have. I went to check in on them tonight and McKay and Jordan were in Jordan's bed asleep. It made my heart feel so warm to see the them asleep together. I love that they love each other so much. Ever once and a while Jordan will hug McKay and tell him that he loves him. Just what a mother wants to know. That her children love each other. Then this week we had Mindy and her boys, friends from Utah, come to visit. She was in the bathroom was in the bathroom doing her hair when Mackenzie walks in, looks up and Mindy and says casualy, "hi girlfriend". We bothe busted up laughing. She got the girl part because Jordan calls her girl all the time, and then I was telling the kids that Mindy and her boys were our new friends. So, being the smart girl that she is, she put it together and said girlfriend. McKays new thing is to get Jordan's old backpack on and then come and find me, tell my goddbye, tell me that he needs a kiss, then tell me that he is going to school. It is really cute. He just walks around the house with that on his back. Some days, he ever takes a nap with it on. Jordan is doing to good right now. He loves to count everything. The other night we were driving and Jordan wanted me to count all the stars. We tried for a while, then we switched and counted the cars that we passed. Good practince.
There is just so many cute things that these three kids are doing these days. Jordan is really looking forward to Christmas this year. He talks about it all the time. It is going to be a long 2 months. When he is looking for things that he wants to Christmas, he always finds things for the twins too. It is so thoughtful of them.
Mike and I are good. Nothings quite so cute to announce from Mike and I's daily activities.

corn maze

Well, I know that I have not posted what we were doing in these pictures. So here we go. We took the kids down to Idaho Falls and went to the corn maze. They loved it. They ran all over the place. We almost lost them a few times. They would run ahead of us and then yell, Mom, dad, come on! One time, I looked at Mike and said "where the heck are we". The rest of the time that we were in the maze, Jordan kept throwing his hands in the air and saying "where heck are we". After we were done in the maze, they had a hayride for free and a 4 wheeler that pulled a little train around for the kids. We stayed and did that a few times before we headed home. It was a very fun afternoon that we got to spend together as a family.

Conference Weekend

As most of you know, this was conference weekend. Saturday, the kids were not too interested in it. On Sunday, we sat with the kids on the couch and tried to interest them in it. The first song that they sang was about Joseph Smith. They showed some video clips of a movie about the first vision. Jordan asked me who it was. I told him that it was the Prophet Joseph Smith. Then he saw the part where Joseph saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. He knew who they were. He told me that it was two Jesus'. I explained to him that it was Jesus and Heavenly Father. He said that Jesus came out of the clouds. He then told me that Jesus and Heavenly Father lived in the clouds. So cute! We talked about Heaven and that heaven is above the clouds. I asked him if he wanted to live with Jesus and Heavenly Father. He said "No. It is too high. I will fall". It was really cute to listen to him talk about the things that he knows. It made me think about one talk that I heard yesterday about a little two year old that knew that Enous was the prophet that prayed all day. They are smarter then we know. At the end of the first session, they sang another song about the prophet and Jordan commented that he wanted to live in the clouds with Jesus and with the babies. I told him that one day, I hope that we all live in the clouds with Jesus. I love being Jordan's, McKay and Mackenzie's mother.
