I was thinking about this today as I was cleaning the kitchen. Do I really have a favorite child. Call me a bad mother, but I would say that I do.
Jordan is my favorite because he is my first. He loves so easily and hates to see other people left behind. He makes me so proud to be his mother. He is tender and caring and has the cutest dimples. Yes, Jordan is my favorite.
BUT
Mackenzie is my favorite. She is such a girly girl. She loves to lay in bed with me and read books. She loves for me to tell her all about the things that I know. She likes to watch me do everything, and I mean everything. She is so close to the spirit and loves to talk about Heavenly Father and Jesus. Yes, I love being Mackenzie's mother.
BUT
McKay is my favorite. He is such a little sweetheart. He loves to cuddle with me and fits right into my arms. He loves to tell me all about the things that he is learning. He wants to be just like me. He is always telling me that he loves and and making my heard melt. Yes, McKay is my favorite.
As a mother, you learn to love in many different ways. More ways then you thought possible. I love my children for all their differences. So I do have favorites. I guess that I will just have to live with it.

You need the book you're all my favorites. I think that is what it is called. It is about 3 bears who wonder who their parents favorite is and the dad tells them they're all his favorites. I think it is even 2 boy bears and 1 girl bear.

Malinda, you are so sweet. You are such a good mom and your kids are very lucky to have you. I like the way you put them all as your favorites-in different ways and how you made each of them special in their own way. You should put that in each of their scrapbooks! Did some one ask you if you had a favorite child?~ugh! I hope not!
