Here in Grandma and Grandpa with ALL their grandkids. Looks like Nana is having the MOST fun of all.

Merry Christmas! This is the Pickup Family minus a couple of people. Brian was in Utah working and Andrew was in Peru serving a mission. The kids loved to have Nana and Bopa there to help them celebrate.

Christmas is coming!!

As Christmas approches this year, we are getting ready for a nice break. Mike is taking his finals this week and we are all trying to give dad his space so that he can do his best. He will have a 3 week break. It will be so nice to have him home a little more. He will still be working full-time, but after work he will be all ours.
The kids are getting ready for Santa to come and visit them. Jordan wants to take his train magazine with him when he gets to go and talk to Santa. We went to McDonalds tonight to see him. The kids were all scared of them. Finally McKay and I were able to go and talk to him. He actually DID talk. He told him that he wanted a train for Christmas. McKay even sat on Santa's lap for a picture. Jordan was next to him, but would not talk. Fianlly he told him what he and McKay wanted. We got a picture of him also. Then Mackenzie would sream when we got close to Santa. Finally she and I stood next to Santa and got a picture. The only thing was the picture of her will have a screaming face. She was screaming the whole time. I am sure that we will laugh about this picture when she is older. After we left, Jordan was ready to go home, get the train magazine and go talk to Santa again. So I think that we will try and visit Santa again another day.
